Moises Micael
Co-Founder & Athletic Director
Moses & Mary Christian Academy
Moises Micael is the Co-Founder and Athletic Director of Moses & Mary Christian Academy, where he leads the athletic vision alongside his wife, Maria Revelles. Together, they are building a Christ-centered school committed to academic excellence and character development through sports.
A former professional basketball player with 14 years of experience in Spain and a national team member for the Dominican Republic, Moises represented his country in the Centrobasket, Pan-American Games, and Pre-Olympic competitions. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned to coaching and youth development with a focus on faith, discipline, and opportunity.
As Head Coach at Life Christian Academy, Moises led his teams to remarkable success:

He has also coached at Nottingham High School (NY), the YMCA of Syracuse, and various youth and summer programs, including La Liga’s bilingual afterschool and theater programs. His accolades include CFCA Coach of the Year (2021 & 2022) and his 2023 induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
Moises is fully bilingual and deeply committed to mentoring student-athletes as they pursue academic and athletic excellence.

Maria Revelles is the Founder and Principal of Moses & Mary Christian Academy, a faith-based private school in Orlando, Florida, co-founded with her husband and partner in purpose, Athletic Director Moises Micael. Their shared vision is rooted in faith, excellence, and empowerment—raising a generation of students grounded in knowledge, identity, and service.
Maria is a seasoned leader in education, social justice, and global philanthropy. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Madrid, Spain, she brings a multicultural lens and unwavering passion to every space she leads. Her global work spans initiatives in Haiti, the Dominican Republic,and across the United States, focusing on youth development, labor rights, women’s equality, and immigrant advocacy.
She holds over three decades of experience as an organizer, strategist, and movement builder. Maria has led regional and international campaigns with labor unions, community organizations, and faith-based coalitions, serving as a mentor to women leaders and a voice for equity in education, economic opportunity, and civic life.
Maria is fluent in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, and her academic journey reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and visionary leadership:
